In an effort to publish more student work more often on this blog, we will be posting more images on a daily basis than in the past. Our students are busy daily gaining hands-on experience. Some of the images will be drawn from assignment work while some will be the result of the enterprise of our students. We start the feature with an image shot this summer near Port Alberni British Columbia by second year student Phil McLachlan, as he covered crews battling forest fires on Vancouver Island. The image chosen was part of a Photo Editing assignment of summer work beginning this semester.
