The crack where the light gets in……

It occurs to me, if the events of the past week have taught us anything, it is that more than ever we need good journalism. To put a finer point on it….good solid visual journalism…..photojournalism.

In a world where blinding mindless imagery has served us all so poorly in helping us understand each other, we are desperately in need of good visual storytellers.

The late great Leonard Cohen penned the line “There is a crack, a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in “ Those cracks and crevices are where we live…telling stories, shining a light, bearing witness to the world around us. Urban or rural, big city, small town, it does not matter.

If you wish a life with a sense of purpose …..come and see us. Give us a call.

Photojournalism lives here……thrives here….despite all the challenges in the world.

We are not the only place to learn this craft, but I believe we are a great place to learn this craft. You may be surprised at what you learn about yourself, and about those cracks and crevices.
